Located on the ground floor and lower level of the famous Ritz Tower building on Park Avenue, this landmark bank holds a special place in history. A charter bank created by prominent women’s rights advocates to serve the fi nancial needs of New York city’s women broke the tradition of an exclusive male province. The facilities also provided a forum for community interaction, financial seminars, lectures, and parent counseling. A dual-height space with a skylight provides natural daylighting to a conference space and money management library on the lower level.
