United States headquarters offices for one of the largest foreign-owned banks in the country incorporated several floors of a commercial office building in the Wall Street financial district. A mezzanine space was added to a vacant street level commercial space to expand the floor area and join it to the upper floor executive offices via a new open stairway. Custom built furniture contributed to efficient space planning and flexibility. Conservation of space was a major criterion throughout the design development.
